Acceptable use policy.
Effective October 9, 2026
Nodefy gives you a number that isn't tied to you. That's privacy, not cover. This policy explains what you can't do with a Nodefy number. It's part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to every number on your account.
What's not allowed
Don't use Nodefy to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully or intimidate anyone;
- Contact someone who has blocked you, or get around a protective or restraining order;
- Send spam, bulk or automated messages, robocalls or unsolicited marketing;
- Commit fraud, run scams or phishing, or impersonate a person, company or government agency;
- Mislead people about who is calling or texting them in order to cause harm or get something of value;
- Share someone's private information or intimate images without their consent;
- Send any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. We report this to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children;
- Create accounts in bulk, or verify fake or automated accounts on other services;
- Break laws on privacy, call recording, telemarketing, debt collection or consumer protection;
- Interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to Nodefy, our carrier partners or any other network;
- Resell, rent or transfer Nodefy numbers without our written permission.
Messaging rules
Only message people who expect to hear from you. If someone replies STOP or asks you to stop contacting them, stop. Our carrier partners filter messages that look like spam, and repeated filtering can put your number at risk.
What happens if you break these rules
Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, limit features, suspend your account or release your numbers, with or without notice. When the law requires it, or when someone may be in danger, we may report activity to law enforcement.
Report abuse
If a Nodefy number is harassing or scamming you, email info@nodefy.me with the number, the date and time, and what happened. We review every report. If you're in danger, call 911.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If you continue to use Nodefy, you accept the updated policy.
