Key Skills

  • A solid understanding of networking, and how infrastructure services interact (e.g. DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, routing)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to prioritise, assess risk, organise and execute quickly and efficiently in a dynamic  environment with ever-changing and competing demands
  • Collaborate with Regional Team on project work duties
  • Strong professional interest and/or work experience in network security, data privacy, and encryption standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to pick up issues quickly, to articulate complex matters clearly
  • Strong project planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Respond to users via help desk ticketing systems
  • Excellent customer support skills
  • Configure and maintain servers, VoIP Phones, mobile phones, laptops, Apple devices, and other networking devices
  • Excellent Linux knowledge
  • Act as part of an on-call rotation and respond to outages as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma from a local polytechnic & clearly demonstrated passion for technology and learning
  • CompTIA A+

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or comparable educational experience
  • 2 years of experience as a System Administrator
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Linux+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Cisco CCNA certification
